Oldencraig Equestrian Center can provide riding lessons to people of all standards and levels, from a complete Novice to an Advanced Rider. You can bring your own horse or have a lesson on one of our many school horses or for the more Advanced Rider we have a selection of Grand Prix Schoolmasters.

We have the best facilities in Europe, the centtrhas won many awards from the BHS, Kent & Sussex Police (for safety) & British Dressage voted us the best equestrian center for the last 5 years.

Oldencraig offers the following -

One-to-one or a group lesson with a qualified instructor.
Show Jumping lessons (within our Hickstead style show jumping ring or in one of our all weather show jumping arenas)
We offer stable management courses
All our instructors are BHS qualified
Two hard standing car parks for cars, lorries and trailers
On site tack shop (we sell starter packs for beginners to top hats and tails)
Hot, cold drinks and snack machines
Shower block
Tea room (with ice cold water, TV and video machine)
New state of the art Olympic size indoor school with seating for 800 people,
sound system, light system, bar, bistro, heated viewing gallery and full
length training mirrors.
Covered cottage style viewing stand with seating for up too 60 people (also heated)
3 outdoor Olympic Arenas, 1 indoor lunge and 1 outdoor lunge ring
School horses have regular vet health checks and made to measure Jaguar tack
Annual inspections from Tandridge Council, BHS Approved, regular Health & Safely checks

Resident on site trainer Vicki Thompson, Olympic rider and 13 times National Champion is available for lessons on her Grand Prix schoolmasters.

All the schools are harrowed daily so you are always riding on good, level surfaces.

We supply riding hats but we do ask people to bring their own suitable boots with a heel and wear Jodhpurs or track suit bottoms (not jeans). Also you might want to wear gloves.
