This is your chance to purchase a very smart School master. This charming 23 year old son of Animo’s Hallo has a wealth of experience and successes under his belt. Owned and ridden by Grade 3 Para rider since January 2007. The pair won the Para Winter final in 2007 and they were picked for the Worlds the same year coming 8th overall. They were shortlisted for the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. Oyster successfully competed in Manhiuem where he came 2nd in 2008 and competed for Great Britain with his owner in Belgium coming 2nd individually and winning the team event. Oyster is comfortably working at advanced medium level. He has a straight, uphill flying change. His lateral work is performed at great ease with the smallest aids. He has three very correct paces and he collects and extends easily within each gait as the rider requires, making him a very suitable ride for either an experienced rider or someone who wants to learn the more advanced movements.

His sire Animo’s Hallo is by Animo. In addition to competing in the Olympics, Animo placed in 48 World Cups and Grand Prix. His achievements include placing third in the Helsinki Grand Prix and finishing asthe best combination (double-clear) in the Drammen international competition. At the World Cup in Antwerp, he was fourth; and in the Munich Grand Prix, he was second. As a breeding stallion, Animo boasts sons approved by several studbooks around the world, and five Animo-sons are approved by the KWPN: Monaco, Andiamo, Placido-K, Revenge-W, and Regino.Animo appears in the bloodlines of Carl Hester’s seven year old gelding Nip Tuck (Animo x Don Ruto)

On the dam line is Calypso II who was one of the most important sires in both Holstein and Hannover where he bred international competitors, and influential breeding stallions. It was Calypso II who introduced the Cor de la Bryère blood to Hanover, ushering a new era of Hanoverian jumping breeding.

He was stationed in Holstein until 1986, and then he was leased by the State Stud Celle from 1987 to 1989. He stood at the Amselhof Walle, the private stud owned by Joachim Kemmer, father of dressage rider, Heike. Calypso features on many mother lines, and they all tend to have very good jumping ability and good riding ability.

Oyster is a darling in every way. He is brilliant to handle, and has got supreme quality a sort hard to find. He is good in a trailer and horsebox, good to shoe, clip, box and jumps. He also hacks well alone or in company.
