This strikingly beautiful 11 year old KWPN stallion has naturally loose and uphill movements which cover the ground with great ease. All three of his paces are naturally expressive and whatever you ask of him he performs with ease and grace. Exquisite has a loveable and charming character which makes him so reliable both at home and in the competition arena, nothing phases this chap. Exquisite has been out competing at the Premier League shows this season (2018) in the small tour classes and has been gaining scores in the 69%/72% range and will be making his International debut at small tour this season.

It was Ian’s experienced eye which saw the phenomenal potential in the 16.1hh stallion. His sire Lord Loxley was Bundeschampion of the five year old Dressage Horse in Verden, and five year old reserve champion Young Dressage Horse of 2004. He is a declared world class horse by all who see him, as he impresses with a spectacular trot with excellent extension of the forearm and an active hind leg. His powerful, lofty, rhythmic, uphill gaits caused FEI judge Hilda Gurney to exclaim at the World Cup, "What a wonderful horse!" His great self-carriage and expression gain the attention of everyone in his vicinity.

In 2005, he was series winner in Young Dressage Horse classes on Advanced Medium Level. In 2006, Lord Loxley was victorious in Advanced Medium level and in his first and only start at Advanced level placed fourth as a 7 year old. As a sire this exquisite young stallion is off to a terrific start. His son Lord Leatherdale was approved for the Dutch main book and became Reserve Champion. His foals are off to promising stars as Oldencraig Exquisite is not only a look-a-like of his dad but also has the same expression in the arena.

His dam sire is Montecristo who was bred by Bert Rutten and approved as a 3 year old for KWPN. He transformed from a good young Dressage protégé into a highly successful dressage horse which won every stallion competition in The Netherlands, including consecutive Pavo Cup title. Oldencraig Exquisite is bred for the top and will be seen on the big stage in a few years. The judges already put him continuously second to none and he gets over 70%.

He is good in a trailer and horsebox, good to shoe, clip, box, and jumps. He also hacks well alone or in company.
