For the sixth year running Oldencraig Equestrian Center will be hosting the 2008 Regional Summer Championships on August 9th & 10th.
New Olympic Indoor School
The new Olympic size indoor arena is now open. It accommodates 800 spectators in a heated viewing gallery, along with a Bar, Bistro, Sound System and full length training mirrors The indoor school is joined directly to the warm up arenas.
New Conference Suite opened
This beautifully decorated oak panelled room seats 25 people and looks into the indoor school. To book this room for meetings or private functions or for more information please call 01342 833317 / 01342 837750 or email info@oldencraig.com.
New Bistro opened
We are pleased to announce the opening of our stylish new bistro. With it's open plan kitchens and professional catering teams, the bistro serves a mouthwatering selection of daily specials as well as our regular menu. The bistro seats 72 people in air-conditioned comfort overlooking the indoor school and the TV and stereo system make this an entertaining place to relax and eat. January 2008 - New on-site stabling for show competitors.
OEC has just built a new stable block for competitors visiting our shows. The stables feature wall-to-wall rubber matting, automatic water drinkers & feeders and are finished in a stunning oak design. If you're coming to one of our shows and would like to book stabling, please call the show secretary on 01342 833317.

Saturday 5th April 2008 an evening with Ferdi Eilberg
Oldencraig Equestrian Centre presents an evening with Ferdi Eilberg, official coach to the British team, Ferdi will give a lecture demonstration with his daughter Maria and son Michael on Saturday 5th April 2008. During the evening they will demonstrate the techniques required for successful dressage using some of their younger horses as well as horses working at more advanced levels. They will finish the evening with a display of dressage to music.
June 2008 – All year round turnout
Due to popular demand OEC are now offering all year round turnout. All the
paddocks have post and rail fences with automatic water drinkers. Your horse’s turnout can be tailor made to individual

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July 2008 Winter Southern England Championship Show
1st Prize - £75 cash, bronze engraved trophy and individual trophy, sash, embroidered rug and a baseball cap. 2nd prize: £50 cash, bridle and a baseball cap. 3rd prize: £25 cash, saddle cloth and a baseball cap. 4th to 8th Prize will receive a baseball cap. Rosettes 1st to 8th place.
The competitor with the highest percentage at the championship will win 4 training sessions with Vicki Thompson.
Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th October 2008 Unaffiliated Summer Dressage Series Championship Show
The winner of each
class will receive a Quality Summer Sheet sponsored & presented by OEC & Jaguar Saddles. Also a rosette, sash,
trophy and individual trophy. 2nd prize: Quality Jaguar bridle, rosette, baseball cap and £30 riding voucher. 3rd
prize: Quality saddle cloth, baseball cap and £25 riding voucher presented by OEC and Jaguar Saddles. Prizes for
4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th place rosette, baseball cap and £20 riding voucher presented by OEC.
The horse & rider with the highest percentage in each section of the young horse, veteran and under 16 classes throughout the series will be presented with a Sash, Rug and individual trophy and bouquet at the championship show.
The most improved horse and rider combination throughout OEC winter dressage series will win 4 training sessions with Vicki Thompson along with a Rug, Trophy and baseball cap.
